An MCS certificate (Affordable Power Certification: NAP-74772) is proof that your solar PV or battery installation has been designed, installed, and commissioned to the highest standards. Without an MCS certificate, you cannot connect your system to the grid or register for the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) to sell surplus electricity back to suppliers.
